The Beginning

A Dream Realized

Kings & Queens was born from a simple yet ambitious dream: to create a dining destination where every guest feels like royalty. Founded in 2020 by Chef Ada Okonkwo, our restaurant started as a small 20-seat eatery with big aspirations.

Within just two years, word spread throughout Calabar about our exceptional cuisine and unmatched hospitality. We expanded to our current location — a stunning 200-seat venue with a dedicated lounge, private dining rooms, and an outdoor terrace.

Today, Kings & Queens is recognized as one of the finest restaurants in Cross River State, having won "Best Restaurant" awards in 2024 and 2025. But our greatest achievement? The smiles on our guests' faces and the memories they create at our tables.
